Government-owned Warren 9-ft. stainless-steel V-box salt and sand spreader, believed to be model AC-2420A. Hopper measures slightly over 9 ft. externally, consistent with Warren’s nominal 9-ft. inside hopper length. Factory specifications for the 9-ft. AC-2420 configuration list a capacity of approximately 5.6 cu. yd. struck and 6.6 cu. yd. rounded. Heavy-duty hydraulically powered unit equipped with a wide pintle-style drag-chain conveyor, adjustable rear feed gate, hydraulic rear spinner and distribution assembly, hydraulic hoses with quick-connect couplers, side catwalk, access ladder, rear lighting, and internal hopper bracing. Designed for spreading road salt, sand, salt/sand mixtures, cinders, abrasives, and other compatible dry granular materials used for snow and ice control and roadway maintenance. Shows normal wear from municipal use, including surface rust and corrosion on the conveyor, catwalk, ladder, mounting rails, drive components, and other steel parts, along with staining, scratches, and weathering on the stainless-steel hopper.
