Universal CST-12-43SL 12' Reversible Snow Plow
Government-owned Universal 12-ft. power-reversible municipal snow plow, believed to be model CST-12-43SL. The original manufacturer tag appears to identify the unit as a CST-12-43SL, and measurements show an approximately 12-ft. blade width and 43-in. nominal moldboard height.
Heavy-duty curved steel moldboard equipped with hydraulic power-angle/reversing, dual hydraulic cylinders, full-moldboard spring-trip protection, reinforced vertical ribs, hydraulic hoses, chain lift, rubber/poly snow deflector or moldboard liner, replaceable steel cutting edge, and heavy-duty plow-side push frame and mounting components. Universal’s CST-series literature lists the 12-ft. configuration with a 43-in. moldboard, eight reinforced ribs, hydraulic reversing cylinders mounted above the push frame, and adjustable attack-angle capability.
Shows extensive wear from municipal use, including heavy paint loss, surface rust and oxidation, pitting, cutting-edge wear, deterioration around portions of the moldboard and outer edges, weathering to the black liner/deflector, and previous welds or repairs as shown. Manufacturer tag is heavily weathered, but the model appears to read CST-12-43SL. Selling as pictured.
